Nathaniel McKENZIE, of Carapook, having 2 school-aged children and living 1 mile South of Carapook and was one of the signatures to the 1875 petition aimed at establishing a new school at Carapook. Nathaniel appears to have died in Bengigo in 1935 and Mary Ann at Inglewood in 1898.
