I came across your link while searching for some information on Casterton, which I hope you may be able to help me with.
Along with my genealogy research I have been working on a time line of my parents covering the places they lived and worked, which brings me to Casterton.
My parents Len and Daphne Beckwith lived in Casterton from 1946 to 1949 where Len was a shift electrician at the Power Station, I have a photo that Len sent to Daphne which has written on the back “ this is the Power Station and the house that we will have to live in. love Len” (picture below)
I have 2 addresses for them while in Casterton. One being Shiels Terrace and the other at 8 Grant Street. Can you tell me where the PowerStation was located during this era and can you put me in email contact with anyone who may have photos of the PowerStation at this time.
