Hiscock's Crossing, Hotspur, Victoria
Hiscock's Crossing is one of the local crossing points on the the Crawford River south of Hotspur. Situated on the Hotspur to Rifle Downs Road it was the scene of a tragedy in 1918 when Edwin Thomas HISCOCK (1857-1913), eldest son of Edwin HISCOCK 1830-1906 and Elizabeth TERRY 1830-1905, was accidentally drowned while crossing the stoney ford with a horse and spring cart.
