Edward Davies MORGAN b. 1831, Montgomeryshire, Wales, son of Evan MORGAN & Elizabeth DAVIES, was married in 1859 at "Hyde Park" Station, Cavendish, S-W Victoria, Australia to Eliza Jane THOMPSON b. ~1832, Co Armagh, Ireland, daughter of James THOMPSON and Jane LUCAS. At the time of their marriage both were recorded as servants at "Hyde Park" Station, Cavendish and their marriage was witnessed by the station owners Alexander McGILL & Margaret Anne BAIRD.

The first three children in the family were born at Merino, S-W Victoria, the next two in South Australia, another three at Edenhope, S-W Victoria and at least one in NSW.

Edward Davies MORGAN died at Parkes, NSW in 1905 and his widow, Eliza Jane died at Narrandera, NSW in 1913.
