Matthew CARTER, a blacksmith with connections to Harrow, Bahgallah & Casterton, was also involved in horse racing, being an owner & handicapper. His son Matthew was also a blacksmith & a jockey. Another son John Robert CARTER was also a blacksmith. Philip MARTIN, a Cobb & Co driver with links to Harrow and Casterton who spent his later years working at the Hamilton hospital. Philip's father in law was Cornelius O'REILLY who worked on Nareen & Koolomert who is buried in the Tarrayoukyan cemetery. | |
