John James BALL b. 1865 Mount Gambier, South Australia, son of Henry BALL & Jane SUTTON married in 1889 at Dartmoor, S-W Victoria to Mary Jane DOWLING b. 1871 Sandford, Victoria, daughter of William DOWLING & Jane BEST.

John James BALL was a farmer of Strathdownie and Dartmoor, S-W Victoria, who died and was buried at Dartmoor in 1939. His widow Mary Ann BALL died at Coleraine and was also buried at Dartmoor in 1956.
