Thomas BROOKS, his wife Ann MACK and child William BROOKS sailed on the "Hooghly" from Southampton, England to Portland, Victoria in 1853.

It appears that after arrival they went to South Australia where a daughter Sophia BROOKS was born in 1856.

Thomas BROOKS died at Hotspur in 1888, aged 62 years and his wife Ann died at Heywood in 1893.
