Joseph JOYCE was a licensee of the WoolPack Inn at Digby. One entry from the Digby Court Registers shows that in September, 1859 Joseph JOYCE applied for and was granted a publican's license for the Wool Pack Inn with surities being Hugh GLANCY of Rifle Ranges and Donald McCALLUM of Digby.

H. GLANCY was listed as one of the buyers of the first Digby town allotments.
