Charles and Mary KNIGHT had seven children from 1851 to 1861 at Portland and Digby where Charles was recorded as a labourer.

It appears from thr records that Charles KNIGHT died between 1860 and 1865 when Mary was recorded as a widow when she remarried in 1865 at Digby to John REEVES a local shepherd. Charles' death has not been located at this time.

John REEVES b. c.1808, Devonshire, England son of George REEVES and ___ was married to Mary Jane KNIGHT (nee POWER), widow, b. 1829 Waterford, Ireland at Digby in 1865. John REEVES was recorded on the marriage entry as a 47 year old bachelor Shepherd.

Mary Jane REEVES died at Goroke in 1895 and John REEVES appears to have died at Horsham in 1898.
