Hugh LEWIS was born ca 1823, son of Owen LEWIS, brother of Catherine LEWIS wife of Owen OWENS from Digby and brother of Richard LEWIS of 'Rifle Downs' near Digby.
Hugh LEWIS was a pastoralist of 'Glenlivet Station' near Digby who married Catherine Ellen MERCER in 1865.
