John SMITH b. ~1840 Argyllshire, Scotland, son of Donald SMITH & Mary SWAN was married in 1881, Victoria to Euphemia Adamson WALKER b. 1856 Lismore, Victoria, daughter of Duncan Stewart WALKER and Margaret LOWE.

John SMITH & Euphemia WALKER married in 1881, had two sons at Terang but were at "Grassdale" Estate when their third son Eoin Lindsay SMITH was born.

John SMITH died at "Grassdale in 1921 and was buried in the Coleraine cemetery. His wife Euphemia died at Hamilton in 1937.
