David Blair STONE b. 1832, Syracuse, North America, son of Joseph STONE and Jane Anne BLAIR was married in 1860 at Merino, Victoria to Maria Elizabeth BILSTON, b. 1844 "Steep Bank Station", near Casterton, Victoria, daughter of Thomas BILSTON and Ann WHEELER.

David STONE was the Inn Keeper at the 'Crawford Inn', Hotspur in 1861/62 and later the "Spring Creek Inn" at Lyons.

David Blair STONE died at Warracknabeal in 1894 and his widow Maria Elizabeth and children moved to Western Australia.

Maria Elizabeth STONE (nee BILSTON) married a John George ELKIN at Perth, Western Australia in 1901. She died there in 1909 and is buried in the Karrakatta Cemetery.
