Joseph CRAWLEY appears to have been transported as a convict in 1829 on the "Surrey" from London to Hobart Town.

Sarah JONES appears to have been transported as a convict in 1833 on the "William Bryan" from London to Hobart Town.

Joseph CRAWLEY and Sarah JONES applied as convicts for "Permission to marry" in July 1838 and were married in October 1838 at Launceston, Tasmania.

Joseph CRAWLEY disppeared, he possibly died in Tasmania 1886.

Sarah CRAWLEY (nee JONES) remarried in 1864 in Casterton to John COLTON c. 1815-1899.
