William FAHEY 1826-1909 and Mary O'SULLIVAN 1822-1909 arrived from Liverpool, England in 1854 on the "Almora" at Portland, S-W Victoria.         The overland cyclist, J. A. Fahey, arrived at the G.P.O., Melbourne, this morning, at 12.20. Fahey left Perth on October 1, and came across Australia, calling at Adelaide, Mount Gambier, Hamilton, Terang, and Geelong. He didn't attempt to break any records, but undertook to ride merely as a tour. He is a native of Henty, near Casterton.
      • He then rode his bicycle from Adelaide to Darwin in 1914 then back again to Adelaide to enlist in the AIF in 1915.
