MERINO.--Mr R. McInroy, who has been so long in Merino as saddle and harness maker, having purchased land near Swan Hill has himself left here, for his new holding, whilst the family will be following later on. Meanwhile, Mr McInroy's business with stock, etc., has been purchased by Mr B. Tait, his trusty foreman, who has been with Mr McInroy for nearly 30 years, having finished his apprenticeship to the saddling with him some 26 years ago, and had been with him ever since. Mr Tait is to be congratulated upon starting business on his own account, and it may safely be predicted that Mr McInroy's popularity in business as well as his success will be extended to his deserving successor.
