Richard Henry BEDDELL 1832-1895, b. London, England son of Richard BEDDELL and ____ was married in 1854, Melbourne, Victoria to Ellen TYRER c.1834-1913, b. Adelaide, Colony of South Australia, daughter of William Henry Ormsby Little TYRER and Mary CONNOLLY.

Richard & Ellen BEDDELL were in the Victorian goldfields and the Wimmera district before settling on a farm at Mocamboro near Sandford, S-W Victoria by 1867.

A number of their children died at Sandford, S-W Victoria from diptheria and were buried in the Sandford cemetery.

Ellen TYRER had a sister Mary Jane PESKETT (nee TYRER) living at nearby Carapook, S-W Victoria.

Richard Henry BEDDELL died in the Hamilton Hospital in 1895 and was buried in the Casterton Old Cemetery.

Ellen BEDDELL (nee TYRER) died at Dunrobin, near Casterton in 1913 and was buried in the Sandford Cemetery.
