Sandford Cemetery Records
The Sandford Cemetery is located south of the township on the road to Merino, Digby and Portland. It is situated on hill overlooking the sweeping Wannon River valley not far north of the original Henty Pastoral Run of Merino Downs.
The burial records for the Sandford Cemetery prior to 24 April 1897 are reported to have been destroyed in a fire.
