Henry Alexander FORDHAM b. 1832, London, England son of James FORDHAM & Lucinda Susan SPENCER emigrated to Australia before 1859 when he married In Swan Hill, northern Victoria.

Mary Ann Pierce PLACE, b. 1840, Northumberland, England, daughter of Isaac PLACE & Mary Ann JORDON who appear to have emigrated to Western Australia in 1842, before moving to South Australia by 1860. Mary married Henry Alexander FORDHAM at Swan Hill, northern Victoria in 1859.

Henry FORDHAM died at South Melbourne in 1913 after surving his wife Mary Ann who died at Richmond, Melbourne in 1895. They are both buried in the Boroondara Cemetery.
