Charles McGARRY c.1838-1916, b. Co Leitrim, Ireland to James McGARRY and Mary BOYLE was married in 1865, Warrnambool, Victoria to Anne MOORE c.1843-1887, b. King's Co, Ireland, to Lewis MOORE and Mary EUSTACE.

Charles McGARRY was a shoemaker of Warrnambool when he married in 1865 and the first 5 children were born there from 1866 to 1871.

By 1874 the family had moved to Sandford on the Wannon in S-W Victoria where another 6 children were born from 1874 to 1887. 2 children died at Sandford, and Anne McGARRY also died there after the birth of the 11th child and they were buried in the Sandford cemetery.

Charles McGARRY died in Melbourne in 1916, as did some of his children. Four of the children moved to Western Australia where Mary (the eldest) was hotel licensee at Kalgoorlie in the early 1900s.
