GLENELG.-We have intelligence from the Glenelg, by letter dated 26th ultimo, that a man named Mappisson, in the employment of Mr. Kirby, was attempting to bring his wife across a lagoon, from an island joined by the Glenelg, when the boat upset ; the woman was drowned ; and the man narrowly escaped a like fate, and is yet in a very precarious state. Mr. Henty held an inquest upon the body, yesterday, and Mrs. Mappisson's remains were interred immediately afterwards.
