Alexander Campbell McFARLANE and Ann McLEAN arrived on the "Edward Johnstone" at Portland, S-W Victoria in September 1854. They were engaged by John RALSTON at "Roseneath" station on the Glenelg river, near Casterton, S-W Victoria. In the 1860s they moved to "Penola" station, S-E South Australia and "Lake Monbeong" station near Nelson in S-W Victoria.
