Dunrobin. --- (From Our Own Correspondent.) --- A social evening was tendered to Private Russell Lane on Wednesday, November 13th, but owing to some mistake on the promoters' part he was not presented with a watch till Thursday in Casterton. Private Lane was home on final leave and returned to camp on Friday, but owing to the glorious news of peace, he is now returning to Dunrobin. It is a delight to think this would be the last social of the kind in to be held at Dunrobin, and all are looking eagerly to the welcome home socials. Each of our soldiers as he left Dunrobin has been presented with a watch, or one has been sent after them.
